Covid-19 and our Commitment to Safety
The GeoCalgary2022 Local Organizing Committee is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable conference for all attendees. We will continue to monitor updates pertaining to COVID-19 safety and we will follow all Provincial mandates during the conference. As per current Provincial regulations, vaccines and face masks are recommended but not mandatory. The staff at the Hyatt Regency Calgary will regularly clean and disinfect high-traffic areas, and we will promote physical distancing by reducing the number of guests to a table. Student Delegates
In order to receive the student registration rate, you need to provide us with proof of your full-time student status. You can upload a copy of your student card (both sides showing photo, name and card expiry date) to the GeoCalgary 2022 registration site while registering for the Conference.
Social Events
Delegates attending GeoCalgary 2022 will be treated to exciting social events where they can meet, mingle and get to know their professional colleagues in a relaxed setting, outside of the technical and business streams. For more details, please visit our website.
Please note: All full member and non-member registrations include a complimentary ticket to each social event.| All student registrations include a complimentary ticket to the Icebreaker and Exhibitor Reception. If you would like to buy additional tickets for accompanying persons or in order to add them to your day or student registration, please do so while registering for the conference.

Registration & Payment Information
Credit Card Payments Online
Registration paid with credit card is a preferred method and results in an instant confirmation of a delegate attendance. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard and Visa. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to Venue West Conference Services.
Bank Transfer
Bank Transfer details will be sent upon registration.
Cheque
Your registration is incomplete until your cheque is received. Please indicate the name of the delegate on (or with) your cheque that you registered online. Please address the cheque to Venue West Conference Services and mail it to the address below:

Acknowledgements
Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds (less a $100 CAD handling charge) will be provided for cancellations received in writing by July 31, 2022. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations after this date, but a substitute delegate may be sent instead
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Canada, failure to utilize tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. Venue West or the Local Organizing Committee of GeoCalgary 2022 cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
